Wayne Lynch continues fight for justice in son's 2021 police shooting death

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. — Four years later and the pain is still sharp.

"I'm still kind of in shock," said Wayne Lynch as he still seeks answers and accountability in the 2021 police shooting death of his son, Donovon Lynch, at Virginia Beach's Oceanfront.  Donovon was killed by Officer Solomon Simmons, a shooting that was later presented to a special grand jury, which ultimately declined to press charges, citing justifiable self-defense.
